Lovina Weather in June

June is among Lovina's most pleasant months. With only around 35 mm of rainfall across 4 days, the north coast is functionally dry, and daytime temperatures of 31°C are moderated by reliable sea breezes blowing off the Bali Sea from the east and southeast. Humidity drops to 70% — the lowest of the shoulder period. These conditions make June outstanding for dolphin watching: the flat, glassy morning waters allow clear sightings of spinner and bottlenose dolphins leaping close to the boats. Snorkeling over the Lovina reef is excellent with consistent 15–20 metre visibility. June also marks the start of the Bali Arts Festival in Denpasar — a day trip to Denpasar by car (around 2 hours) gives access to traditional Balinese dance, gamelan competitions, and cultural exhibitions running through July. Locally, the north coast's relative isolation from Bali's tourist mainstream means Lovina remains unhurried. Watersports operators along the beach are active but not overwhelmed. The highland areas around Munduk and Bedugul are at their most comfortable for walking and cycling. Singaraja's Dutch colonial street, lined with Chinese shop houses and the old harbour, is a rewarding half-day excursion at any time but particularly pleasant in June's clear dry air.
