Lovina Weather in July

July marks the peak of the dry season on Lovina's north coast. Rainfall averages just 30 mm over 3 days, and the strong southeast trade winds that batter Bali's south-facing beaches leave Lovina largely untouched — the sheltering mountains block most of that wind, leaving the Bali Sea calm. Temperatures sit at a comfortable 30°C with humidity at 68%, making July arguably the most comfortable month for outdoor activity. While southern Bali is overrun with peak-season tourists, Lovina retains its unhurried character — a significant advantage for travellers who want reliable weather without the crowds. Dolphin-watching tours continue with very high success rates; the morning seas are like glass before the day's light breeze builds. Snorkeling visibility is exceptional, often 20 metres or more. The Bali Arts Festival continues in Denpasar. July also brings stronger afternoon breezes along the beachfront, which make evening walks and dining particularly pleasant. Water temperature drops slightly — around 27–28°C — which is still warm enough for extended snorkeling sessions.
