Sanur Weather in September

September is a prime month to visit Sanur. Weather remains excellent — 40 mm of rain over 6 days, humidity at 71%, and 31°C daytime temperatures. The southeast trade winds continue to blow, keeping the bay active for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Visitor numbers drop sharply from August as European and Australian school holidays end, yet conditions are virtually unchanged from peak season. Sanur takes on its characteristic relaxed pace: the promenade is less crowded, restaurant reservations are easily available, and accommodation prices fall from peak levels. The Bali Kite Festival can extend into September at Padang Galak. Snorkeling visibility remains strong at 15–20 metres in the bay. September is an outstanding month for day trips to the Nusa islands — Nusa Penida's Kelingking Beach and Crystal Bay are less crowded than in August. The trade wind season also makes September a strong kitesurfing month with consistent breezes. Sanur's tranquil, sophisticated character is at its most appealing in September — it's the month where the benefits of choosing Sanur over more hectic south Bali destinations are most evident.
