Sanur Weather in April

April marks Sanur's welcome emergence into the dry season. Rainfall drops sharply to around 75 mm over 8 days, and the bay wakes up to reliable sunny mornings with a 32°C daytime temperature and humidity at 77%. The east-facing orientation of Sanur beach delivers spectacular sunrises — the morning light over the Lombok Strait and silhouette of Mount Rinjani on Lombok is one of Bali's finest sunrise experiences. The bay is calm and clear in April, ideal for snorkeling over the reef, paddleboarding, and the Sanur-to-Nusa Lembongan fast boat crossing. Water temperature around 28°C is warm and comfortable. Visitor numbers are still at shoulder season levels — lower than the July–August peak but with all facilities operating at full capacity. The beachfront promenade fills with families, cyclists, and morning walkers. Sanur's well-established restaurant strip, running parallel to the beach on Jalan Danau Tamblingan, comes alive with the improving weather. Accommodation prices are in the moderate range, giving excellent value compared to the peak months.
