Sanur Weather in August

August is Sanur's driest and most visited month, yet it retains a composure that distinguishes it from the chaotic scenes of Kuta and Seminyak. Just 20 mm of rain over 3 days, 69% humidity, and consistent 30°C temperatures with reliable sea breezes create near-perfect beach conditions. The offshore reef keeps the bay flat and clear — snorkeling visibility is at its best and the water temperature of 26–27°C is comfortable for extended swimming. The Bali Kite Festival may continue into August at Padang Galak, and Indonesian Independence Day on August 17 adds a patriotic community dimension to the month. Day trips to Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida from Sanur's beach departure point are seamless — the fast boat crossing takes 30–45 minutes and conditions are generally smooth in the morning. Sanur's promenade is at its most animated in August, with morning joggers, cyclists, and vendors from 6 am. The beach itself hosts an active mix of kiteboarders, swimmers, and boat charters.
