Canggu Weather in November

November is when Canggu's character truly splits between its two main audiences. For surfers, the month is largely a write-off — westerly storm swells produce powerful but messy, onshore conditions at Echo Beach that only the most experienced chargers can work with. The ocean surface is choppy and disorganized, and surf school operators cancel many lessons. For digital nomads, remote workers, and lifestyle travelers, November is perfectly functional. The co-working spaces are as busy as ever, the café scene on Jalan Batu Bolong remains fully operational, and yoga studios continue their daily schedules unaffected. Rain falls on around 18 days but follows the familiar tropical pattern of bright mornings followed by heavy afternoon downpours. Villa prices drop to some of the lowest of the year, and Canggu's relaxed, community-oriented side is most visible — fewer Instagram influencers, more people actually living and working here. The rice paddies reach peak green again as they flood and the landscape is dramatically beautiful between downpours.
